SUMMARY
A personal training and wellness company needing a friendly face that related to existing and prospective customers.
MY ROLE
To identify the brand's identity and transfer that into a stimulating, visual web experience.
THE CLIENT
A personal training company from the Pittsburgh area.
THE PROBLEM
Zenblend was lacking a unified brand message and visuals, though existing online with a social media presence previously.
THE SOLUTION
Conduct a creative brief with the client and develop a strategy that tackled all touch points, including the business, social media, and the website.
THE PROCESS

Discovery

I filled out a creative brief with the client to identify goals, completed a competitive analysis, then created a mind map, mood board, and style guide for both the website and their social media.

Research I: Survey

I completed a short, 15 minute survey to gauge interest and perspectives on in-class exercise, virtual training, personal training, and meditation.

Low Fidelities

After completing a site map and defining the site's information architecture, I completed numerous phases of low fidelity screens that I iterated upon until satisfaction, which involved various conversations with my boss and the client.

High Fidelities

Throughout the hi-fi process, I was focused on whether the client should use a third-party booking client, how the offerings should be presented on the services page, initiating new customer relationships, and maintaining current ones. The titles of and content on each page altered through each iteration, from having an upcoming, virtual, events, contact, and register pages to triumphs, virtual, contact, register. An emphasis of testimonials, general questions, and pushing registration coupled with a calendar streamlined the process to push users from viewers to doers.

MOVING FORWARD

I would love to conduct further user research on how people would interact with the site and study the flow of booking a training session. I would also love to digitize the logo and work with the client on developing it over time.
